Mimi silicone bubbling up?

I'm on take 2 with the Mimi. The first time I received one, it worked for three or so days before the vibrations became noticeably weaker and the silicone 'bubbled' up and away from the vibrator.

My replacement just arrived in the mail. After fully charging it and using it for a 20m session, I found that the silicone had bubbled up like before. There's a distinct air pocket between the silicone and the vibrator.

Has anyone else had issues with this?

Half an hour later, it's sealed back up. I'm wondering if this is an overheating issue.

I haven't, and I've had mine for months. I don't think mine's ever been on for that long at once though. Maybe try another replacement?

Mine has a bubble too, it showed up after I used it in a really hot shower for too long...then started poking at the bubble. It doesn't affect performance, just makes it slightly louder.
Also, my bubble gets smaller when off, and larger in hot showers.
I wouldn't worry about it.

Hmmmmm, this hasn't happened to mine yet either, and I've used it for a full 20 minutes or longer. I'll be keeping an eye on it though. It definitely sounds like an issue related to heat, especially since it can happen in a hot shower too.

That is strange - I didn't know that happened with vibrators. You can try contacting Je Joue again and see what they say.

My roommate had one and it did this. She was really upset because Je Joue did not refund it

This may seem obvious, but you’re not using silicone lube with it right? Because that can have a reaction, I know it's a clit toy but some people like to lube those up too...

Mine was that way as soon as it was out of it's box. I though it was made that way. It work perfectly well as far as I know so that bubbling doesn't disturb me.

It was actually the motor inside causing air to build up. It had nothing to do with the lubricant when it happened to my roommate. She poked a tiny hole in it with a needle and the problem was gone.
