After reading what others say about these wand massagers, I'm very keen to get my hands on one. I have chosen the ones I like but am needing a little more advice from others would own one of these.
I love the rechargable feature - although I dont think I'd have a big issue with a cord one.
The main issue is the noise. With living with other people, I preferably need one as quiet as possible.
But again, I wouldn't necessarily let that stop me buying one if a noisy one is better.

I have the Pocket Fairy, the Inspire, the rechargeable Mystic and the Hitachi. The Mystic is nice and strong and is cordless but a little loud. The Hitachi is WAY loud. The Pocket fairy is nice, but a little buzzy and doesn't have many vibration speed options. The Inspire have a ton of speed and pattern choices, is pretty quiet, it have a bit of a rattling sound to it, but I think it's pretty discrete if you live with others. The one and only problem with the Inspire is that it has to be plugged in to be used. Other than that, it's pretty awesome.
If you really want a cordless that my second place choice would be the Mystic rechargeable. Hope that helps.

I have the Fairy Wand, the Magic Wand and the Inspire. The Magic Wand is my favorite of the three. Its vibrations are deeper - at least they're deeper than the Fairy Wand. Inspire is excellent too. Both Inspire and Fairy Wand have a rattly sound to them. But all three are quite loud. and Inspire gets really hot if you use it for any length of time so you probably don't want to use that one under the covers.

I watched some of the review videos again and took a little more notice of the noise and the operating buttons.
So narrowed it more down to the Couture, Mystic and Acuvibe.
I like the silicone head on the Mystic and in the video it seemed like one of the most quiet of all of them.
Has anyone found there is a max time limit per session on the Mystic?
I know the instructions for the Couture says 5 - 20mins just wondered if the others have the same.
Im not so keen on the button system on the Couture. I prefer to have a seperate on/off button incase ya need it off in a hurry.
I got the impression the Acuvibe was more so a body massager and too powerful to be used on the clit for alot of people.

From the options given my vote is for the Hitachi Wand. Two reasons. First is because we have and love the Hitachi. Second, is because we have and the Hitachi.
No really, why the Hitachi? It's been around...like forever. There's a reason for that. It is very reliable and super powerful. Too powerful? Possibly, but you can reduce its power by using indirect contact. Try grasping the bulb of the wand in your palm while using your index finger to rub tight little circles on your clit. You can touch ever so slightly or apply firm pressure as needed. I have also read about people using a variable speed controller to lighten the intensity. I hope to try one soon.
The Hitachi is among the least expensive of the ones that you are asking about. You could use the money saved to purchase one of the silicone attachments for it. We have 3 attachments for ours. I don't recommend the cheapo attachments. They are too flexible and are of limited use.
You could also consider the Wahl 7 in 1 that namelesschaos mentioned. It is not a wand, but it is quite powerful in a different kind of way. More of a deep percussion feel to it. We also like it bunches and bunches. It comes with a suction cup attachment that will adhere to many silicone dildos.

I am leaning towards the Mystic. From the videos - it seemed to be the most quiet. But I think I may have to buy a few different types. I also need my own place so noise wont be an issue.
From the videos, the Hitachi really doesnt do much for me - very noisy and huge.
I know it would be fantastic for massaging but when it comes to any form of sexual massage - I find the smaller, the better.
I checked out the Acuvibe Mini and I quite like that too.
Unless they come out with more (and for sure they will) before I buy them, I think I'll get the Mystic, Acuvibe Mini and the Inspire.

I did a review on the Mystic Wand and gave it 5 vrooms, but the Inspire is easily twice as strong if not more. The Pocket Fairy I would give a 4. It's more like a bullet than a wand. I kind of wish I'd gotten a Fairy Mini instead of the Inspire though because the dial control would make it a lot easier to lower the speed, which I always do if I want to have more than one orgasm.

Hon, I know I sound like a broken record (and I think Wahl should pay me to promote their product ) but please consider the Classic Wahl.
It is such an amazing machine. I have a really high orgasmic threshold, and the Wahl, even though it may take a little longer, gets me there more often than even the Hitachi does.
And it is SO quiet! I haven't used the Fairies, but I have a Hitachi and a Wahl, and I can't say enough about the Wahl.

Seems like ya need more than one of these types of wands.
The Inspire seems to be a huge hit for a lot of people.
I ended up getting the MWR and it's very powerful. Sometimes I find it a little smothering for clit play. It's much better now that I have a Tenga egg cover for it!
But I don't use it all that often. Too much choice in toys I think!

If you want power, you can't beat the Hitachi. It is indeed loud. It depends, honestly, how close you are living to other people. If you've got thin walls and your rooms are right next to each other, then it might be an issue. However, I've used my Hitachi in the bedroom without people in the computer room next door knowing I'm doing so, and I've used it when we had guests over. It can be used under the covers, which helps, unlike some other wands -- I've humped it on a pillow, which burned out the motor on some rechargeables I've used the same way. Heh. Oops. Simply involving some ambient noise, such as music, or one of those table-top fountains, or something, can go a long way to disguising the sound.
