I'm new to insertable vibrators, I've just had a little bullet for ciltoral stimulation for a while now and I'm looking for something to start out with. I love clitoral stimulation but I'm not sure if starting out if an insertable vibrator with a clitoral stimulation attached would be too much. I was looking at the Jopen vanity line but I'm not sure if they will be too much for just starting out. Any advice would be well appreciated!

Well congrats, and welcome to Eden AND to the wonderful world of sex toys!

My first few toys were all rabbit/dual stimulator style toys. The more I've gotten into toys, the more I enjoy using 2 separate toys, 1 for my clit and 1 for penetration. Different things work for different people, and it's hard to know ahead of time what will work best for you.

That being said, are you new to penetration in general, or just penetrative toys? That will make a bit of a difference in recommendations - since if you're new to penetration in general, I might recommend some smaller toys to start off.

What is the bullet that you already have and love? That will also let us know what kind of power/vibrations you like - which will also make a difference in recommendations.

The Jopens are powerful, and I love mine! But they are too thick for some users, and too powerful (or not powerful enough) for others.

You could always use one vibrator internally and another externally at the same time - will probably work out cheaper. Also means you have more choice over the size and shape of the internal one and the strength of the external one. While I've never had issues, some people have problems finding a rabbit vibrator that lines up properly with their clitoris, so keep that in mind. Like indiglo, I started off using rabbit vibrators but use two separate toys now.

I'm actually new to penatration in general and I then started questioning the Jopens because they look rather large. I started looking at the Liv by Lelo and look like it might be a better option for starting out. I have a silver bullet from Pure Romance, but it's rather loud and I wish it wasn't. I think if I was to get a new cilotral vibrator I would really like the Zini Seed.

Is using two separate toys hard to work with or is it just more pleasurable and more controllable, so you don't mind it as much?

Well, it does take a bit of coordination - but it becomes really natural. To me, it doesn't feel like it's hard work, but I think in the beginning I had to get a bit of a rhythm down. Now I really prefer to use 2 separate toys, because I can control the stimulation more so my clit doesn't get overstimulated or too sensitive. (Which allows me to have more multiples.)

The Liv seems like it would be a GREAT first penetrative toy. The girth sounds like it would be a nice place to start too. That sounds like a really good option - plus it has really high quality materials & should last you a good long time.

The Zini Seed sounds like a good option if you don't need a ton of power. It's rated 3 vrooms out of 5, which definitely doesn't put it in the power queen category - but it is quiet, which is a plus. If you're interested in something that runs on batteries and is a bit stronger (4 out of 5 vrooms) but still quiet, you might take a peek at the PicoBong Ako as well. Or, my personal favorite the Je Joue MiMi, which is another rechargeable, fairly powerful, quiet clitoral vibe.

There are so many options, it can be really hard to decide. But the searching can be oh so fun! lol

Happy hunting! I'm sure others will come along with some GREAT suggestions too, and maybe they'll be able to help you narrow down your choices.

Welcome to eden and the wonderful world that is sex toys. There is A LOT of information on here and i know it can seem overwhelming at time. I cam in with (what I thought was a lot of experience with toys of all types) turns out I was wrong. I was putting money in all of the wrong places when I started out. I have recently purged many "Jelly" toys because of how harmful they are to the body and will be ordering my first Fun Factory toy this week. YAY. There are a lot of wonderful toys out there. Personally I have found that the jump from single clitoral stimulation to dual stimulation OVERWHELMING. Also I have found that many dual toys don't fit my anatomy so I tend to buy one or the other and mix it up on my own. A few things on my wish list that you may want to look into are.

Does Vibrate
The Rondo by Close2you (has 2 motors but is not dual stim)
Elegance by Extase (has 2 motors but is not dual stim)
Bimini Ocean by Fun Factory (this is a smaller toy and could be a good start)

Doesn't vibrate
Play things Mini double ended dildo by Cal Exotics
Bent Graduate by Don Wands
Blue Spiral by SSA GLASS (I want this so bad)
Blossom G by SSA GLASS

At the end of the day its up to you on what you are looking for. Personally I think its really important to read the reviews and forums before making up your mind. If you narrow your options down to 4 and post a comparison on the forum you can get the advice of so many wonderful reviewers. If you have any questions about anything you are looking at or just anything on this site in general always know that this is an open place where you are free to ask questions. I for one will answer whatever I can and if I can't I will direct you to someone who I asks questions from. Hope that helps. Welcome again to the Eden Community

I don't tend to use rabbit vibrators, so I can't help you there, but if you're considering using two toys at the same time (which is what I normally do) I would say, don't totally discount non-vibrating toys. It can be sort of a leap of faith when you're really used to using a vibrator on your clit, but I've fairly recently found that dildos can be just as pleasurable (and in some cases more pleasurable) as internal vibrators. Vibrations feel totally different internally than they do on your clit, and most of the internal vibrators I've tried have felt too buzzy to do much for me. If you're at all interested, I'd suggest checking out the Bent Graduate or the Amethyst. I have a couple of issues with the Bent Graduate, but I really like it on the whole, and it's slim and has almost no drag, so it would be good for someone new to penetration.

I don't want to dissuade you from getting a vibrator, though! I'm still looking for an internal vibe that really works for me as well, and I'm convinced that there's an awesome one out there! I'd just suggest giving both a try, if you can afford to get more than one toy

Also, I saw that you asked about whether it's hard to use two toys at the same time. I'd say it depends on the kind of toys you're using and how you use them. I prefer clitoral vibes that I can just hold against my clit without having to move my hand at all, so for me, coordinating isn't too much trouble--I just hold the vibe with one hand and thrust the internal toy with the other. I know some people prefer to move the vibrator around, though, so I can see how they might have a hard time getting into a rhythm. Plus, larger clitoral vibrators can get in the way, but if you're using a bullet that shouldn't be a problem.
