Rabbits-Are they worth it?

Contributor: salaciousrex salaciousrex
For all of you that have used them, is it really worth the money? Do you like and recommend them?

I've been reading a lot of reviews and discussions about rabbits.
My boyfriend thinks I should get one and I'll love it. I'm unsure but willing to try.
I'm looking at getting a traditional rabbit with the rotating balls and stuff. I don't know if I'll like it, kind of seems too big for me.

I'm just wondering what the general opinion of them are and if you think it's something you think others should try out
Thanks!!!

If they fit right, then yes, I'd say they're worth it, and can really be nice - especially the rotating. Where I always have difficulty is with the clitoral piece - sometimes they are just too short and don't fit me right, and then I end up using a separate toy with the rabbit, which kinda defeats the purpose.

Rabbits are pretty great options for everyone from beginner to pro. I do think it is usually worth it to go a little higher on price for these (at least more than $50) and read the reviews for indicators of low quality and different bells and whistles you might want. As far as the standard rabbits go, there are a ton to choose from!
Right now I finally found one that I am in love with! The Nocturnal Emissions by Evolved, which as waving discs rather than the beads, but they feel so good. They also make a regular style rabbit, the Dream Maker Lunar , but I haven't tried it yet. I do think Evolved is a great brand name to go with, and they have a great reputation.
The L'Amour Series is also getting great reviews, though I have yet to try them either: Flutter, Thumper, and Tripler.
Good luck and let us know if you find the right one!

Yes I'd say they are. Using a dual-stimulator was the way my wife discovered that having something in her vagina made having a clitoral orgasm easier to attain and stronger. That revelation lead to our experimenting with various dildos including glass and steel which are some of her favorites.

So you might call dual-stimulators a gateway toy (like marijuana is considered a gateway drug).

We've had the Decadent Indulgence link for almost 10 years - and I just received a new one because she still likes it so much. I didn't realize it by the new DI design is slightly different - so we'll see if it's better than the original. The EF photo still shows the old design.

We've tried other dual-vibes with mixed success. The biggest failings we've seen are that 4 AA batteries are necessary to provide adequate power - and a clit vibe that is not close coupled to the shaft makes it easier to get the right placing of the vibe.

For me, rabbits really won't do it. I need dual stimulation, but I need a phallic vibe or a dildo AND either oral sex or a strong clit vibrator, like the Wahl or the Hitachi to get there.

It depends on your anatomy and how sensitive your orgasm threshold is. I doubt there is a rabbit out there that has a strong enough clit vibe for me. But, so many women like them, they must work for some.

Also, one of my issues with a rabbit is that My Man loves to give me oral sex while we use a penetrative toy. We can't do that with a rabbit, because the "ears" are in the way. Also, the "affordable" rabbits are so often made of less than safe materials. Jelly rubber is not a safe material, and so many of the less expensive vibes are made of this.

That being said, I'd like a toy with beads, but they are nearly impossible to find without either having that damn "rabbit ear" thing on it, or being made of poor materials.

My search goes on.

You really have to experiment to see what toys work for you.

For me, they are not worth it.
I have a deep g-spot, and the clitoral attachments don't even reach my clit.
So it would really have to depend on your body, and what usually works for you.

For me they've been worth it. It gives just the right amount of dual stimulation and it lets me switch between rough penetration and clit stimulation without any real adjustments on my part.

Hell yes, they are worth it!
I have been lucky that all four I've got fit and only one (free) doesn't work me up as much as the others.

Yes they are great. Great all in one tool for penetration and clit stimulation at the same time.

Not for me. I've had no luck with them thus far, and I'm not fond of blowing money on the chance that it "might" be a good fit. (If I get the dildo part where I want it, then the clit vibe isn't in the right place.) No more for me. I'd rather just stick with a separate dildo/internal vibrator and clit vibe.

I love them. Not for everyone, but great if you're a person who enjoys dual stimulation.

Definitely read plenty of reviews, of course, and you'll have to find one that fits you well- in my opinion, if one doesn't seem like it would be exactly right, and it's not very flexible, I'll usually forget it, but I love my rabbit and I'd definitely recommend one to someone who's on the fence.

Rabbits are great but there's so much to choose from. There are always the petite or slim rabbits that are great for a beginner. Good luck!
