Does anyone know if the remote for the egg is also waterproof? Was thinking of using it in the pool?

Hello there! Thank you for your question! Unfortunately this remote control is not waterproof. But you can use it in a waterproof plastic bag - it will work perfectly. The egg itself is 100% waterproof. If you have more questions please let us know.

It says the egg is waterproof but i would assume that the remote itself couldn't be.

No it is not, you will short out the circuitry if you get it wet
