Originally, yes.
However,
Lelo has admitted that the remotes that went out with the first run of the product were faulty. Mine was replaced in February and the replacement remote (which any owner is entitled to request, free of charge, since this is a warranty issue) performed beautifully. It did everything Lelo claimed SenseMotion would do.
That still didn't make the love the toy, though. They have made changes to a 2nd version of this toy, fixing many of the points I and others complained about: Can't use the toy without the remote, no g-spot stim, not powerful enough, etc. I hope to be receiving a new one soon.
