Replacement motors - where to find them?

Contributor: DreamWolf DreamWolf
I have been looking for any places where replacement motors can be obtained, mostly for the traditional vibes...

I already and blissfully know about the Little Chroma vibes, and I remember bookmarking one once as well (though I still couldn't find it among my countless saved addresses), but I still couldn't find any other places where they sell the motors for your average 1 1/2 inch of diameter vibes...

I am interested because of replacement purposes and also because I am extremely excited about getting creative in the future and make my own vibes for fun...

All your helpful comments are gonna be most appreciated, and thank you!!!

For little chroma, you can get the replacement motor on Jimmyjane website for 20 dollars. They look like the size of a regular AA batteries.

It's going to be a lot harder for you to replace motors on other small vibrators. You'd have to somehow open the toys before you replace them, and somehow close it up without leaving much seam and damage.

I was going to suggest contacting the manufacturers, but really...weigh out how much time and money it'd cost to replace vs. buying a new one.

You can get replacement parts at any local electronics store. They won't be, necessarily, exactly the same, but they will be similar enough that they can be used.
