Ribbed or smooth?

I like both.

I like ribbed, but I prefer smooth.

Smooth. Textures have to be very mild for me or else they feel uncomfortable/too intense.

For me it depends on what type of toy I want at that time. I like a bit of texture most of the time though.

Depends on the vibrator's design on the whole, if it has a nice bulgy g-spot head and good rumbly vibrations, then I don't need any additional texture. If the vibrator only have a regular g-spot head, then I'll want additional ribs/texture on the shaft to make it work for me.
