Stupid question -- new vibe isn't working

Contributor: jennifur77 jennifur77
I have a really stupid question. I've inserted batteries as shown on this product. . .

But nothing is happening. I have read the instructions, made sure the batteries work, but this is not turning on.

Does anyone have any advice? I really am looking forward to using this!

Things to try, double check that you have A) new batteries. B) they are in right, and C) put the batteries in the other way and try it. Kayla mentions in her review that there are stickers showing the direction for the batteries, maybe they put them on wrong.

You might also try holding the on/off button down for a few seconds too. I have two or three vibes that work like this. If that does not work it is time for a support ticket so you can return it.

Hope it works, good luck.

Oh ya, that is not a stupid question. It could only be stupid if you did not ask it.

I thought maybe the holding the on/off button down a few seconds might do it, but nothing.

I've tried the batteries in every combination possible, and they are brand new batteries.

Any other ideas? I was REALLY looking forward to this one.

Submit a support ticket to get a replacement. If you go into your account dashboard there is a link that says support tickets, click that and then create new ticket and go from there.

Sorry, that is all I can think of with out taking it apart. Your best bet is to contact Eden via a support ticket. (FYI, they close for the weekend)

Wish I could be more help.

Okay, thanks. Not even sure which packaging came with this one. Got a box of goodies today, and none of it looks like what is in the video. Guess I'll have to figure it out by process of elimination. lol Fun box by the way!

Actually you should go ahead and still submit a support ticket since it is a defective product as opposed to just a wrong item shipped, they won't be keeping it anyway. I bought the We-Vibe Tango and was so excited to use it and to get rid of the "evidence" since I still live at home that I smuggled the box to school and ditched it in a trashcan in the parking lot. Later that night I came home and found I had a defective toy. I submitted a support ticket and explained what was going on and told them that I threw the box away and only had the instructions, charger and toy and they just had me stick all of that into a mailing envelope (I used a bubble wrap one) and send it back. They didn't charge me for shipping but I bought the envelope myself and they sent me a new one . So just submit a ticket and tell them what the problem is and that you don't have the box.

i work in a sex shop- once you know the batteries are in right try adjusting the top- a little loose, a little tight, usually you have to find the EXACT amount that it needs to be screwed on
