The Rabbit

Contributor: Irisheyez Irisheyez
Ok so I've had three vibs now all for clitoral stimulation. The last one I bought was the blueberry turbo glider, I really like it and have gotten more into insertion. I kinda want to explore that more and since the rabbit is supposed to be "sooo good" thought I come here to ask.

1. Are they really that good?
2. Which is your favorite? I know that should get the one with beads on track from what I heard.

Anyway advice welcome

Rabbit-style vibrators, as good as the hype?
I've never tried a rabbit-style sex toy. But I know they're super popular, having been featured on Sex and the City.

I don't like rabbits. I like to be able to control the toy in my vagina by thrusting it while having something steady on my clit. The problem with most rabbits is that they don't hit my clit right. Plus, a lot of them are made of jelly.

I personally have to agree with epiphora. I know a ton of women LOVE rabbits and more power to them. It's a real challenge to find one that fits your anatomy. I finally found one that comes somewhere near by clit (and isnt' jelly! yay!), but if you like thrusting toys, you can't really do that much with rabbits. so they're just not my thing.

as far as advice for picking one out- if you like clit vibration, make sure you pick one that has bullet just for you clit. don't trust it to travel up the shaft to the little beaver or whatever. it likely won't. and keep in mind that if you pick a jelly vibe, to be safe you'll want to cover it with a condom (i use cutoff fingers of latex gloves for the clit stimulator part).

I'd rather just pick up a trusty bullet to couple with an internal vibe or dildo. gives me more control, in my opinion.

I love using my rabbit vibrators. It's like using two toys and only having to hold (and pay for) one.

Saurou has some good advice for picking one out. I have the Cupid's Punk Rock Rabbit link and the Luxe Squirmy link (which I also reviewed, but it was my first one so take it with a grain of salt). Neither one is perfect but I like them both. Both reach my clit, but everyone's anatomy is different.

We have the Rabbit Pearl by Vibratex, and I like it a lot - it's very intense all-over stimulation, and my husband really likes using it on me, since it gives him something to play around with

I am not sure I want to be "thrusting" idk I've tried that some with my toy and just doesn't do anything for me. Like I said I am new to insertion with toys.

For those of you said that it is hard to find one to fit right, how do you pick a right one for you?

Is there any other toys beside rabbits that you suggest for insertion that is good for beginners with toys?

I haven't tried the traditional, rotating middle rabbit yet. From what I've experienced from less complicated rabbits, however, I prefer the ones with shorter shafts curved for g-spot stimulation. Dual stimulation is pretty awesome.

I would pay attention to the product specs.

How much is insertable. Subracting that from the overall length gives you a good idea of where the bullet (or the bottom of the bullet, at least) will be (because the point where it stops is where the bullet is). IE an 11 inch vibe with 5 insertable inches will have the clit attachment somewhere about 5 inches down the shaft. A shaft too long will position the clit attachment further from your clit. I've had some which wind up having to be inserted to the point of discomfort to get my clit attention.

I think length of the clit stimulator is often a big issue. Many of them are too short. I know the space between my vagina and clit is at least 2 inches (maybe more, I've never exactly taken a ruler out). Floppy ears and paws and tentacles and other 'extenders' can help with this. I also find that larger bullets as clitoral stimulators work better for me because of the distance, which I mentioned. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a easy way to measure size/length of most clit stimulator; at least, it's not listed anywhere.

Generally speaking, I agree with Epiphora. What's worse for me is that a lot of rabbits tend to be very thick, so they hurt when I penetrate myself with them.

I have liked a few rabbits, however, like the Decadent Indulgence. If you can find a good rabbit that's made out of a decent material and that fits your body right, it can be great; it just might take some trial and error.

i'm not much of a rabbit fan, personally. i prefer a nice, thick dildo, potentially with vibrations. clitoral vibrators just don't do it for me, and i go for girth, not length
