My 22nd birthday is coming up which means birthday monies <3 I'm trying to see if I can orgasm with my gspot but haven't had any luck. I've been close but no beans yet. I'm debating getting this to see if it'll work for me, plus I'm trying to go off birth control, it's made my sex drive completely dissappear after 2 years of being on it, not to mention making me depressed, moody, etc.

Anyway, would this be recommended? Where's the vibration, though? More in the shaft towards the buttons or more at the tip? And is it plenty strong? (I need strong vibrations.)

I'll have to order at a time my dad won't be home, though, and make sure it arrives when he's at work--how embarassing it'd be for me for him to find out I have toys!

Have you read all the reviews on it? If not then I would.

I know I love it! It's my favorite vibrator.

There are also at least ten reviews by advanced reviewers on the Gigi. I'd say read thru the info that's already available, then ask any questions you feel wasn't covered.

Yes, I read them. I was just wondering mostly where the vibration is: the shaft or the tip? I need to have the egg/bullet inside to be closer to the tip as much as possible for it to feel good to me, otherwise it doesn't do much for me. Plus I need strong vibrations, such as with, say, the marble slimline G, which has got me close, but it's too bulbous to really move about and such.

The Gigi is moderately strong. I'd give it between three and four vrooms. Vibrations are focused most in the tip but they're not earth shatteringly strong.

I haven't written my review yet but, for me, the Gigi works best as a clitoral stimulator. It's a little too short in length to get decent thrusting, which is what makes g-spot orgasms easiest for me, and the shape of the head makes it uncomfortable against my pubic bone when I thrust.

With all the information out there it's still almost impossible to determine if it will work for you. The only option, really, is to try it. Or find a brick and mortar store that sells them so you can feel it for yourself before you buy.

Personally, if you need uber vibrations, I'd recommend a Hitachi with a g spot attachment.

I'm going to second the recommendation for the Hitachi + g-spot attachment. I spent literally years trying to have a g-spot orgasm, and this is the only toy that's been able to do it for me thus far-- like you, I need very strong vibrations. I have the Jollies Curved Hitachi Attachment (link), and it's worked wonderfully. (See Sammi's excellent review for further info.)

Good luck with getting off birth control! I hope it works out well for you.

So the hitachi with an attachment is stronger at the tip than a vibe with the bullet at the end? o.o

I think the only problem I'd have with the hitachi might be the cord length, I don't have any outlets close enough to my bed, lol. The one I do has all my game systems attached, (though if I get it and it's that good, why would I want to be playing games? ;D), and also the price of attachment looks a bit steep. Probably due to the material it's made of?

Oh my god, choices, choices!

Thank you for this. I am looking into that attachment right now but it is out of stock. Bummer.

Personally, the vibrations are strong enough to push you over the edge after working up to an orgasm. To answer your question about the vibration patterns and location, the LELO Gigi has 5 patterns to cycle through.

1. A continuous & constant vibration (constant)
* Vibrations concentrated in the tip, some lower vibrations can be felt lower on the shaft
* Vibrations can be felt more on upper curve of the toy versus the lower curve.

2. Longer pulse vibration (slower)
* Vibrations concentrated in the tip, with some vibrations in the upper shaft
* Little vibration can be felt on the lower curve

3. Medium pulse vibration (medium)
* Vibrations concentrated in the tip, with more vibrations in the upper shaft and upper curve.

4. Shorter pulse vibration (faster)
* Vibrations concentrated in the tip, with an overall vibration throughout the shaft. Still, note that the most vibration is located in the tip.

5. Wave pulse vibration
* Vibrations move from the bottom of the shaft towards the tip and than works back down the shaft. This motion is repetitive like a wave or rocking motion. Though the vibration occurs throughout the entire toy (excluding the handle, of course), the vibration is has a concentrated feeling towards the tip.

Hope that helps!

The vibrations of the Gigi are located in the flat head of the toy but they also diffuse up the base of the shaft. They are strongest at the flat bulb which is the area that you would be pressing into your g-spot. If you are new to g-spot stimulation you need to understand that the g-spot is quite different then the clitoris and women can rarely orgasm from just holding a vibrator to the g-spot. The best way to stimulate the g-spot is to press the bulb into the g-spot and move the toy up and down on the area to stimulate the "come here" motion. This works really well for most women but personally I didn't feel like the Gigi was long enough for me. My anatomy is a little different and I have a curved vaginal canal so I needed a longer toy with a sharp curve to it to get the pressure I need to squirt. This toy would work well for g-spot stimulation if you have a shallow g-spot and a straight vaginal canal. If you are shaped more like I am you could look into buying something shaped more like the G-Spot Pink glass g-spot stimulator (which is found on this site). I'm currently in the process of writing a review for this toy which makes me squirt every time I use it. Assess your anatomy before you buy. I enjoy this toy greatly but I feel it functions much better as a clitoral stimulator then a g-spot stimulator for me. Although for other women it works wonders as a g-spot stimulator. Assess your anatomy and see, There are lots of reviews on here so do your research before you buy.
