For me, my clit is too sensitive for that. I prefer stronger vibrations, just not directly on my clit. If I wanted to do that, I think I would have to be strapped down so I don't thrash uncontrollably.

I do this for two reasons. One is that it just plain feels better that way. The other is that I have my hood pierced and if I don't move it it gets in the way of the vibrator and causes issues.

I only do that if the vibe is pretty weak. (The RO-150mm slimline bullet comes to mind!) I don't need to do that with stronger vibes, and it would probably be too much for me if I tried to do that with a stronger vibe.

Other. My clitoral hood is super tiny, so it doesn't actually cover my clit, it just sits above it. I don't have the option of pulling it back or not.

I don't like pinpointed stimulation right on my clit though, even though I do need strong vibrations. The feeling is more intense, but it's a totally different feeling for me, and isn't really pleasurable. It almost reminds me of hitting my funnybone.

Never really thought about it. But it takes a bit of work to actually get to my clit as it's itty-bitty. Seems to work okay regardless. It's pretty sensitive even with the hood in place. Now you've got me curious, so I'll have to try it, but I think it would end up being painful for me if I hit it for more than a moment.

Good to know about hood piercings. I only had mine for a few days before I took it out as it was crooked & not the way I wanted it. But I'll have to take that into account if I ever think about having it repierced.

I can't get off on anything less than intense, direct contact with the clit. Mine's an every now and then sort of deal. I have longer labia and I think what's probably a larger clitoral hood as well.
