I have the Hitachi, and your concerns about it are the very reasons why I don't like it - it's too powerful and it's too loud for any kind of situation where you want privacy. I have the Smart Wand large and love it. It's really rumbly and very quiet, perfect for the times when my little clit vibes just aren't quite enough.

Smart wand large if for clitoral use but if I want mega power for massages I'd go with one of the others. I love my smart wands!

The Wahl (no longer available on Eden, but very cheap at drugstores and similar places) is my all-time favorite massager-style vibe. It's rumblier than the Hitachi so it doesn't cause numbness as easily.

I voted Fairy, but I think you'll find it to be just as powerful as the Hitachi, or close to it. Maybe go with the mystic instead
