Why are there so few..if any..all metal vibrators?

I have been buying sex toys for decades. It just occurred to me that you don't see many (or any?) all metal vibrators for sale. There are lots of great metal toys. Great texture, weight and smoothness...so why not with a vibe inside?

Perhaps a metal vibrator is inherently louder? I don't know.

I imagine there are many design issues. The weight would take more power to create adequate vibration - and as Mwar indicates this is likely to result in a very noisy product.

Loud + heavy = bad.

Would be expensive too. Most metal dildo's I've seen are pricy.

I know! I have been really hoping to see more steel, but it never happens. I got the Pure Wand a while back and really like it, only the size and shape are way too much for me. It's too intense and it borderlines painful if I'm lucky. Other times, it's just very painful no matter what. So I've really been wanting to see another steel dildo out there that's just not so curved. I think a metal vibrator could be fun, especially if it had some type of shape to it, not just traditional.

I do think it would be louder, but for me, I wouldn't mind so much if it was good because noise, I can often deal with. I know my glass rabbit is SO crazy loud when the little bullet is inserted (the Icicle rabbit) so I can see metal being loud, but that could be looked over
