just wondering why it is called silk? I assume there is not silk involved since this is a vegan product. right? I have seen some cosmetics "infused with real silk" so the name is throwing me off. Just wanted reassurance
I'm going to answer assuming your question is serious.
If you read the product description, it states "Natural creamy and silky, non-sticky texture." The name "Silk" is referring to the texture of the lubricant, meaning it is smooth as in "smooth as silk."

when you have people try to sabotage you, it is not unreasonable to get paranoid. I know it says vegan, but so have lots of things that have said vegan but then were not.
Does anyone know what the shelf life on this would be? I'm wondering if it's shelf life would be shorter than other lubes because of the natural ingredients in it.

I was wondering the same thing and on their website they say:
Sliquid Naturals Silk is a water based personal lubricant blended with cream emollients and silicone to create a unique hybrid lubricant.

You know, I honestly didn't even put two and two together that silk isn't even vegan friendly. LOL, wow, I feel kinda silly now.
But yeah, I'm pretty positive its in reference to the texture and feeling of the lube rather than what is in it.
That is pretty interesting. I didn't really think of that either. Though I did not think it had silk, I just thought it was the texture. Though it is not exactly silky for longer than a few seconds unless you just need a lil to help.
thanks for all the reassurance. Yeah. I'm VEGANsilk, because I am a vegan version of it.
but I've seen "cruelty free" listed on non vegan things before (especially things that have beeswax or honey in them). And people who aren't vegans, often get it wrong. So I may be a little paranoid, but I have a history with saboteurs.
I know that aerial silks are not (or no longer) made of silk, so there is precedence for it just being a name.
