This is just from my own personal experience (and opinion) but if you've never used a toy on a woman before you may want to go with something softer. That way if you accidentally start pushing too hard in your excitement or something you won't hurt her.

If you know what she likes really well, and what kinds of things she likes to feel, then base your decision on that. She may like the cold metal sensation, texture, or something smooth feeling. In any case, clitoral stimulation, or a g-spot vibe would probably work best.
