Lets have a talk about Depression. Guys we are not immune.

Symptoms of depression in men. While depression is often associated with sadness and hopelessness, it also manifests itself in fits of rage, unnecessary risk taking, and alcohol or drug abuse in men. Physical signs of depression may include: persistent pain.

Part of my job includes education for men and I felt the need to raise this topic as we have several campaigns running at the moment in Australia.

I would but I'm not a hairy guy. I'm unable to grow a proper beard or most facial/body hair. I do however have all the usual signs of body hair for a guy though.

I was thinking armpit, crotch and head. It's very thin and sparse on my legs and arms. I also have eye brows and yes in my nose as well.

Thanks for asking. We're feeling fine. Just survived big Thanksgiving get together. Didn't over eat.

I know some get depressed (women and men ) both when the holidays come. Some are lonely, have no so good memories and wish they have what they don't.

Peace to everyone, esp the Middle East and anyone/everyone that is feeling down.

Remember there are others that have it worse than you. Life is short, enjoy it while you can. Put the bad thoughts and" get even " attitude out with the trash.

Eh, I'm ok... I like the holidays but don't care for them. Dr. Brian Ironwood thinks I'm fair. I'd agree mostly with that.

Men... how are you feeling?

Self Check Time.

Please consider the following questions and how true each one is in relation to how you have been feeling lately (i.e, in the last two to three days) compared to how you usually or normally feel.


Are you stewing over things?
Do you feel more vulnerable than usual?
Are you being self-critical and hard on yourself?
Are you feeling guilty about things in your life?
Do you find that nothing seems to be able to cheer you up?
Do you feel as if you have lost your core and essence?
Are you feeling depressed?
Do you feel less worthwhile?
Do you feel hopeless or helpless?
Do you feel more distant from other people?
