A little background on my situation. I'm currently 24 old and had been struggling with ED ever since I got married (I think it was there before hand as well but it didn't matter then). It wasn't like it was impossible to get an erection but as soon as I stopped simulating I would start to loose my erection. This made it very hard to get my penis inside my wife's vagina. My wife also struggled with vaginismus which made this difficult since I needed to insert my penis quick while my wife needed me to take it slow. This continued to for a little under 2 years. I finally started to figure out something was wrong with my penis and ended up going to a urologists to see what was up. He said I had ED and put me on Cialis. The pills helped with the erection issue but they gave me REALLY bad headaches. There was another type I think it was one you were supposed to take everyday that was a lower dose that still worked pretty good and I only had to take it when needed and it still worked pretty good but still had a bit of a headache from it. I hated having to take the pill before having sex not like it was a big thing but it was just one more thing to get in the way when you're already in the mood. I asked to try Viagra to see how I would react to it. I don't remember exactly how it was. I think the headache wasn't as bad and I still had a good erection. Again I still didn't like having to deal with the pills though. Then I started running out of the samples and went to go get refills. 3 Viagra pills was like $50 I think which was a huge whoa moment. I might actually be limited in how often I could have sex by how much money we have. I did more research. I'm a member over at the Marriage Bed
link. They have a lot of good information on ED. Basically they said that ED can be caused by low testosterone levels. I went to my primary care practitioner to have my testosterone level checked. When I got the results back he said they were normal the thing is my level was 254 while the range I believe is like 250-800 so I was extremely low (around what a 90 year old guy should be at not a 24 year old). I set up an appointment with a naturopath doctor as I'd read on the other forum that a lot of times doctors won't give you testosterone supplements with someone at my level. The naturopath took a look at the results and wrote me a prescription. Instead of prescribing something like Androgel which is not actually testosterone but just very similar he put me on actual testosterone which is made from plants is identical to what your body produces. You see I was worried that the testosterone would make it difficult for my wife and I to have a baby when the time came. The doctor explained that is only the case for someone like a weight lifter who takes huge amounts or it. This was quite a relief.
So the results? Within a few weeks I was already seeing a difference. Getting erections was easier. What really helped a lot too was I started doing a simple cardio work out in the morning 5-7 days a week. With these two combined I've noticed a huge change and no longer have any ED.
