I have been with my girlfriend about three months now, and I'm wondering how I bring up the idea of her shaving - Now let me say, the amount of hair she has does not bother me - just at certain times causes some scratching and chaffing as I am shaved myself / as well it seems to retain a significant odor even though she showers / washes regularly. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to talk to her about it?

Happy Medium - Clippers. You don't shave it all down (which can squick some ladies out), just a bit to prevent the hair from acting as padding and making you feel a wee bit longer.

JR's right - as a way to get started. Getting my wife to shave took some time. First I started by trimming - and convincing her to do the same.
Eventually I took the plunge and started shaving. She was a little surprised - but after a few months - she also took the plunge. I convinced her that the big payoff was that she would be far more sensitive to my touch (both fingers and tongue) with the hair gone.
After a while although she loved the new found sensitivity - shaving was a bit of a hassle. She (we) were saved by Groupon specials for laser treatments. I gave them to her for Christmas a couple of years ago - she is now smooth and soft 100% of the time.
Lead by example - you will also benefit. As JR indicated you'll look a little larger - and you will no longer get hair stuck and pulled by cock rings and other toys. Post sex clean up is also much simpler.

I agree; smooth is great and it feels wonderful for both parties and you're not a bad guy for wanting her smooth. But it is a pain none-the-less. So show her you're willing to go the distance too!
