How to ask partner to shave?

sjclayton2912 sjclayton2912
I have been with my girlfriend about three months now, and I'm wondering how I bring up the idea of her shaving - Now let me say, the amount of hair she has does not bother me - just at certain times causes some scratching and chaffing as I am shaved myself / as well it seems to retain a significant odor even though she showers / washes regularly. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to talk to her about it?

Happy Medium - Clippers. You don't shave it all down (which can squick some ladies out), just a bit to prevent the hair from acting as padding and making you feel a wee bit longer.

JR's right - as a way to get started. Getting my wife to shave took some time. First I started by trimming - and convincing her to do the same.

Eventually I took the plunge and started shaving. She was a little surprised - but after a few months - she also took the plunge. I convinced her that the big payoff was that she would be far more sensitive to my touch (both fingers and tongue) with the hair gone.

After a while although she loved the new found sensitivity - shaving was a bit of a hassle. She (we) were saved by Groupon specials for laser treatments. I gave them to her for Christmas a couple of years ago - she is now smooth and soft 100% of the time.

Lead by example - you will also benefit. As JR indicated you'll look a little larger - and you will no longer get hair stuck and pulled by cock rings and other toys. Post sex clean up is also much simpler.

Good luck - I hope it works out for you & her.

just ask her if she would be willing to try a trim with a design in it offer to do it for her, give her the classic cut in a heart shape or a landing strip. Make her feel like it is fun and she will be more willing to do it.

Shave it for her as part of foreplay. You can let her do you first.

I find myself agreeing with Gunsmoke a lot. If you want her to shave, his suggestion is the perfect way to ease her into it. From the female standpoint, showing a woman that you don't mind doing it to yourself is HUGE. Sometimes its frustrating; having all this pressure to be completely smooth, squeeky clean, and powdery fresh all the time and then you look at your guy and think "He has no freaking clue what I go through everyday!"

I agree; smooth is great and it feels wonderful for both parties and you're not a bad guy for wanting her smooth. But it is a pain none-the-less. So show her you're willing to go the distance too!
