Broken, but still going strong?

Has anyone else had any type of surgery, a broken limb, or similar, but were still having sex through the pain? Was there even any pain, or did you find a comfortable position? I'm just asking because I had a major surgery on my ankle about 14 months ago, but my wife and I were still going at it like rabbits. I'm assuming others have, but how?

I've had several joint surgeries and none of them kept us from having sex. We had to be careful of course, but the pain wasn't much of a deterrent.
