I took medication about a year and a half ago, antidepressant to help me sleep because the new other meds I was on kept me awake. Sorry, I don't remember what it was, but it actually helped me O. Maybe it just put me in a better, more relaxed frame of mind. It never did really help me sleep so I discontinued it, under doctor's supervision of course.
Do you take any psychoactive medications (Anti-depressants/mood stabilizers/etc) and do you think they effect your capacity to orgasm?

I've been having some conversations recently with people about how I need some super intense stimulation to get off (hitachi magic wand on high directly on the clit for more than 15 minutes intense) and realized that it's been more difficult for me in the past few months than it has been for me in the past (although it's always been hard, no pun intended). The only difference between now and earlier this year is that I started taking an anti-depressant and I know that several psychoactive medications have a negative impact on sex drive (which is a major reason why several people don't take them). So I'm curious if anyone else out there is taking any kind of medication or has in the past and noticed a negative impact like having more difficulty in achieving climax or needing progressively more intense stimulation to reach orgasm.
