I've had a crush who actually was autistic, but he was so sweet, and so intelligent, and I think that falling in love is the most beautiful thing in the world, no matter who it's with. Have you ever done this?
I am a little attracted to my friend Brandon. He is in a wheel chair for the rest of his life. He was shot in Iraq, and I would love to just take care of him, in everyway, but he is married
I have nothing against people with handicaps at all. I just never knew very many handicapped people to have the opportunity to fall in love with them. Most handicapped people I knew were family. Haha.
Oh chucks I just remember my brothers best friend had a friend who was cute, I remember him using metal crutches, I only saw him like 2x. But I do remember thinking he is cute.
Dated a guy for 4 years with schizophrenia. He wasn't diagnosed until later, but holy hell did it make a lot of sense. Had I not been 14 years old I might have noticed there was something wrong, but it was pretty mild until after we broke up.

I've never thought about it, and I've only been in love with two people in my life, both the only people I ever dated. And the second one I married!

I clicked the wrong answer in the poll, but yes I have. He had CP (cerebral palsy) however it only affected him physically. I never saw it as an issue though.
I really have never thought about it. But, I don't think so. I thought a blind guy who made some youtube videos was cute. So, maybe that counts. I guess in a way I have then.

yes. i'm disabled and i have a lot of disabled friends...some of whom i find extremely attractive
I used to end up dating a lot of mentally ill guys, because I have Bipolar Disorder & I figured no one "normal" would want me. Fortunately, I got over that. Now I'm more leery about that in particular. I wouldn't rule it out, but it would have to be someone mature & responsible for dealing with their own medical stuff who I didn't have to be mother/therapist to.
As far as anything else, physical or whatever... When I'm into someone they automatically become the hottest person ever, so it wouldn't matter to me. And if some kinda of accommodations had to be made for the handicap... well sometimes my brain is goofy & they'd have to put up with it. Everybody has their issues.

I never have, but I won't rule out the possibility in the future.

Interesting poll. I think this could be possible for me but I haven't had the opportunity.

Since personality/intellect is such a huge thing to me, mental disabilities might be hard to work through. Still possible though.

Have you seen Pumpkin? You ought to see Pumpkin, forreal. You can get it on Amazon for all of four dollars. It's filled with some campy dark humor but it's absolutely wonderful--watch it for the ending because it's a beautiful movie.
Plotline: Christina Ricci's character, a yuppy sorority girl, gets paired up to help train a mentally handicapped boy during her sororities charity event. She ends up falling in love with him and it turns her perspective of reality upside down.
