I was nearly insatiable from 15-50! My drive is still strong - but my ability to perform has diminished.

Does anyone (male or female) think there is a point where there is a noticeable change? For example, in the teens you notice that you have feelings that were not there before. As we age do you hit spots where it goes significantly up or down and plateaus and then takes another up/down change?
I don't mean the daily/weekly changes we all feel, I am talking about kind of permanent changes. Like Gunsmoke indicated,even though his drive is still strong, it sounds like he dropped a noticeable amount around age 50.

My sex drive didn't really get heavily strong until about 19 to 23 (which is my age currently) and it doesn't seem to be dying anytime soon either!

My sex drive appeared when I was 12 and it was high then and 10 years later its still just as high and has been consistently high that whole time.

RIGHT NOW! I'm 42 and unfortunately my husband's drive is not even close to mine. I am getting desperate to lower my libido. It's very distracting, and I am a really B*%$#* when we don't have sex. I am luck if I get it twice a week! WTH!!!!

The desire, or drive, seems to stay the same. It's the ability, mind set and priorities that change through the years. For me, it was there, slowing a little bit and then all of a sudden it smacked me in the face with lowered ability begining around 45 and really accelerating down around 55!!! Then it took another nosedive in my late 50s/early 60s. I am sure my ability isn't going to improve anytime soon, but oh...trust me...the desire is still there!!!

Definitely the teens. When I was about 14-16 I remember locking myself in my room for hours. Now I'm in my early 20's and my sex drive has really plummeted.
Unfortunately, I suspect my drop in libido has much do do with weight gain and very possible thyroid issues I can't afford to be tested for.
