Today The Bloggess tells us she created a sex drive chart because her shrink keeps asking how her sex drive is.

She says, "Honestly though, I’m not certain what she wants from me because I’m not even sure how to judge my own sex drive. When you’re in pain, doctors give you the pain chart to help you indicate your level of pain (which ranges from the frowny face of “worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life” to the smiley face of “I don’t even know why I’m here”). It’s very helpful. And that’s why I decided to create a sex-drive chart that you can use with your psychiatrist. I used it with mine, and ended up with more sedatives. Everyone wins.

Hahaha. This is great. Hmm. Well, my sex drive is probably around an 8 or 10. The amount I actually get to satisfy that drive with a partner is around a 4.

I think 2 is about what I'm actually getting. I have a ton of great sex with myself, but I don't get to have sex with my lover nearly often enough. I think I'd probably be running at a 10 if I were living with him.
