Sometimes when I come across similar threads, a lot of EFers claim they have sex every single day, what about you? There are times when I'm too exhausted from chores, and I want nothing to do with sex, am I the only one? I'm going to keep this poll private, because I want honest answers!

Never been in a real relationship long enough to find out. My marriage was celibate (ex-husband thought my perfectly healthy libido was freakish while claiming his sexual disinterest was normal). FWB wouldn't allow anything more than once every week or two (extremely frustrating because I felt like I wanted it every day due to never having it the eleven years previous). Currently in long distance and only had it twice when we first met about seven months ago (currently goal: get a job to save money for a ticket to visit him in the privacy of his own place).
I can completely acknowledge the highs and lows of stress, timing, mood, illness, etc. So I don't feel it has to be an every day thing. But I'd certainly like it more than once every week or two - and definitely more than once a decade.

My husband and I pretty much have sex every day. Yeah, we take breaks from time to time. I've been through a UTI recently, then he got a yeast infection and then I had a cold and a nasty period (we usually have sex during my period, but this was was so painful we skipped a day or two of having sex) that we've had a bit of a 2 day hiatus or so.
However, we made up for it last night. *sigh* Heavens, I'd forgotten the absolute frenzy you can get into when you go longer than you are used to without it and finally get into it.
Usually, sex is a once or twice a day thing for us. But, breaks happen. Life gets in the way, and sometimes... you chafe.
Everybody is different. Not everyone wants sex every day, and as long as both partners are happy with the frequency... whatever works for them is wonderful.

I don't get to have sex with my lover nearly as often as I would like. I masturbate every day, though, with the exception of the few days a month that I'm feeling too tired, too sick, or too depressed to want to. Since he and I started having sex, me refusing sex has about the same odds as scientists catching the Loch Ness Monster.

With a rambunctious toddler and a hubby with a job that sometimes occupies his attention (either at the office or at home) upwards of 70 hours a week, we're lucky if we do it once every two weeks. If we get it more than once in a week's time, we consider ourselves lucky. I hardly even get "me time" anymore because I'm in mommy-mode all the damn time. Sigh.
