I have bad and awkward sex dreams but never a rape dream. I can't imagine having one...

Yes (I'm a guy), a few times in my life I remember dreaming about it, I woke up with a cold sweat and was in a brooding mood for the next few days

I've had frequent dreams about rape, probably because I was threatened with rape on a daily basis when I was in middle school. Then I had a stalker, and then my fiance raped me... several times, though I spent several years in hardcore denial.
The most recent rape nightmare I had really crystallized things for me, and let me admit that by forcing sexual contact on me explicitly against my consent, my ex wasn't playing around or trying to be dominant - he had been raping me. It was a nightmare that combined two of his attacks on me... he was having me perform oral sex on him, and I was enjoying doing it, and he grabbed me by the back of my neck and forced my head all the way down on his penis, which was growing out of control like some kind of tentacle, choking me and strangling me. I kept trying to get off of him and get away from him, but he just pushed my head down harder until I could feel blood pouring out of my throat.
Waking up, I realized I had felt the same sort of violation and horror several times while awake... and crying and begging him to stop because he was hurting me/scaring me/I didn't want to.

I once had a nightmare wherein a man raped me using a live snake. That was scary.

I have them more then I would like to, but I am a rape victim so my mind relives it while I am sleeping I guess. Makes me wonder because when it happened I didn't want anyone to touch me, I got with my hubby shortly after but couldn't even let him touch me, I got my counseling for the rape and in the last year my sex drive is insane! The rape occured 22 years ago but I guess my subconcious just won't let it go.
