I choose sex. But, when we had babies and small children, I often would have preferred sleep.
Last night, My Man had gone to a Memorial Service for a friend who died suddenly and unexpectedly, he was exhausted. We also had a shock concerning an other friend. He came home and we stayed up, shocked and wrung out, until much later than our regular bedtime.
But, when we got into bed, tired or not, we both needed the contact, the connection and the immediate relief that a good sex session would bring. We had a blast and fell asleep in a pile of toys and I barely had enough energy to grab a towel for the wet spot.
Sometimes you have to fuck, no matter. This was one of those nights.
