It's just a word that implies wetness, that's about it. I don't really have any feelings about the word one way or the other.

There are certain words that turn me on and off. "Moist" isn't one or the other for me. But I don't like "juice."

Personally it depends on the sentence that the word is in.

The word MOIST is... just a word? I have no other special feelings towards it.

It's not my favorite word, but if I say it long enough it sounds kind of funny to me.

It grosses out a lot of older adults that I know, including my parents, but it doesn't bother me at all! Maybe because I usually see it used in cake recipes/when someone is describing a cake?

Exactly my response. I think it turns me on a little more than it turns on most people. There's something about words, all words that...turn me on.

Oh wow, an ex in college totally hated the word moist. And crotch. So of course I would go around saying moist crotch all the time.

It is just a word, the emotion is just the feeling that you attach too it.

Moist is just a word, though I prefer wet, since moist sounds like humid weather.

The word moist honestly cracks me up, because of a scene in Dead Like Me. The main character's mother hates the word "moist" because it sounds "pornographic". So the main character goes out of her way to use it. "Mmm, these mashed potatoes sure are MOIST."

It's a brilliant show, and ever since then I've found the word moist to be more humorous than sexy, but it certainly makes me happy. I often point out very deliberately how MOIST something is.
