has anyone tried using insertive (aka female) condoms?
I've heard it can be useful for protecting against herpes better, but I'm so used to using the normal kind.

I second this! I am really interested in trying a female condom because I've heard that it feels better for the man, and want to see if my partner agrees. Regardless of success/failure rates I still plan on trying these but more information would be great.

Although I have not used them, I do know that they sort of spread out more over the vaginal opening which is what protects better. Seems to me they are not made of latex either which is good for allergies.

I don't know. I've got some in my review cart for my new girlfriend and I to try out, but aren't there some reviews on them already?

I thought it was the most unsexy thing I've ever used actually. I felt like a plastic bag was hanging out of me and I looked ridiculous. It's too bad really. I'm hoping the design will improve in the future.
