Who uses condoms, and under what circumstances?

Just wondering, what's the consensus out there on the use of condoms? when is a safe time period to stop using condoms?
(My bf and I have both been tested, and plan to be together for an indefinite amount of time.)

When I am first with someone, I will generally use condoms (unless the person shows me recent proof of being clean) for the first few months (regardless of whether I'm on birth control). I am very particular about my partners, though.
Now, I will use condoms when I forget to take my pill (which is close to never) or if I am getting on a new kind of birth control or taking a medication which interferes with my birth control. However, my husband is getting a vasectomy friday, so I guess I won't have to worry about it anymore.

Always, though I'm on the pill! We just are extra careful because we CANNOT afford to have a kid right now!

We always use condoms, although we're fluid-bonded anyway there's no reason to risk spawning. My lover and I were both virgins and tested clean when we got together, so we never used protection for oral.

I don't use condoms with my boyfriend, but any relations I have outside of him I always use condoms with. (Except for the rare occasion that I have a threesome with him and his best friend)

We were both tested and he has a vasectomy.

We set those rules together, so it is set in stone there.

Only when my wife is on medication that effects her birth control pill.

I use condoms because I'm no longer on any kind of birth control. Even when I was on birth control I used condoms because I'd rather be safe than sorry. I couldn't afford to have a child and didn't want to have one earlier, so I did what I could to prevent that from happening.

Now, I ... more
yeah, that sounds like me-
I had an experience once where the guy I was with told me he hadn't been tested, which sent me into a tizzy about STDs and such... NEVER again. As my sister says, "Card at the door!!" :p
Vasectomy. Wow that's a huge decision. So much more convenient though

yeah, that's probably safest. My boyfriend can't orgasm while wearing a condom though

When I am first with someone, I will use them. How long we use them for kind of depends on when I feel right about it. Also, with my current partner, when I'm on my period he wants to use them (in the past, with other partners they didn't care about that and neither did I so we wouldn't they'd just pull out).

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 13 years, and it really just depends. We lost our virginity together, and so never have with oral. But, we use condoms when I'm on my period, or when I don't feel like cleaning up a mess. I'm on the pill, so it's really just extra, plus less cleanup

I always use condoms unless they're on the pill and then sometimes, still.

We use them for a unique reason. My husband is really good about pulling out, so we don't *need* them. We use them to help him last longer. Without a condom, he can only go a couple minutes, maybe 5 at the most. A lot of that has to do with my tightness and his large size, I think.. But anyway, using a condom plus a cock ring helps him last a good 20-30 minutes. So, most people's annoyance (less sensation) is the saving grace of our sex life.
