Whens the last time you had a full check up?
January is National Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. I know as women we are always giving and doing for others but don't forget about your body take some time out and get a yearly check up.

my mom has a rare uterine cancer. And I just had my last yearly check up december 7th. But it was also my first full check up. That included the breast exam etc. I'd never had a breast exam til this check up. In fact it was the first female visit i've ever had that didn't include me being pregnant

Sorry to here about your mom our EF family is always here for you with open arms.
I know for myself I'm always running doing something until I get really sick. So to girl power lets remind each other that we don't have 9 Lives. We always say we don't have time but we must make the time for ourselves & Family

Nice reminder. Cancer is rampant in my family, so I'm very diligent to go yearly. My yearly was last month.

I just had my exam back in November I got once every six months because of cancer running in my family and the fact that I have PCOS.

I haven't had one in a few years, but I've had the first of the HPV shots and am due to have another exam in August.

I have my yearly on time...if I don't my Dr. office calls and reminds me! They are fully aware of my lifestyle and are committed to working with me to keep me healthy. I'm lucky though cause even my dentist's offie will call if I am getting close to my check-up time.
I figure if I get sick I am leaving both men with young children to care for and while they have each other it's not easy to be both Dad and Mom. If I can prevent it by a yearly exam then I'll be there. Taking care of myself is one way I show my love for my family from my teeth to my innards! I will be here, Gods willing, for a long time making my kids miserable.

I had my PAP about 6 months ago, June I think.

I go every year. Cancer runs in my family and my younger sister had cervical cancer last year. They got it all and she's fine but she can't have kids.

@ Cdawn that is great I just have OCD about stuff like this so I go every 6months and when ever I'm not feeling well.
