Do you get severe cramps during your period? I always have gotten them. The first day of my period is the worst and it get better each day. But that first day is horrible.

I don't usually get cramps unless I have a heavy period, the first few days are more prone to this than the rest of the week

I used to not have cramps, but recently, I've had slight pains for maybe a day. Not too bad though -- I've had friends who have much worse. I usually think it was because I ate something bad...until hours later I realize that my period is what is causing the pain.

My wife's experience is very much as you describe it. The 1st full day can be really severe - by day 3 the cramps taper off.

The first day and the second day are always the worste. Thankfully after the third day its not TOO bad.

Thankfully I've never have had a problem with this. My best friend does however and it seems pretty debilitating. Usually for the first couple days she has to take it really easy and take a couple aspirin to try to ease the pain.
