The only house that we own that has a septic tank is our summer home... I wish I could say that I have done the same, but I haven't. I've never flushed one and honestly I wouldn't know if the septic tank is alright. Well, hopefully the plumber wont laugh at you and just give it back without a word. I don't know exactly what yours look like, but you could always say it is a Baoding Ball that your kid? Nephew? Niece? Flushed.

Iv'e never actually flushed them, but yes....I have heard that "plop" as the damned things fell out requiring me to fish them out & rinse them! At least pee is sterile, I would hate to have to get them from a bowl full of poop!

They should make it to the tank w/o problem. Later they will not be recognizable anymore with all that gunk/bacteria on them.

I fell asleep in bed with a NJ Pure plug large one time. Woke up and couldn't feel it. Looked all over on sheets for it. Went to bathroom, sat, pushed and out it came. It got lodged inside. It fell into the bowl, I grabbed it right away. It has a slight blemish from hitting the bowl but is ok. Boy was I scared it would be stuck inside of me. Guess I pushed too hard.

Anyway bought a wide rubber o ring to put on handle to avoid this ever happening again. Actually I don't wear it to sleep anymore since the first month. Guess the novelty wore off.
