I need some serious advice on my wife. What would be the best way to get her to open up and tell me what her darkest desires/fantasies are? She seems so shy and embarrassed to really just tell me what she wants.

Express one of your fantasies to her, nothing too intimidating. You don't want to make her uncomfy. Start with something you think she'd be comfortable with. Kind of ease into it. Don't just burst out that you want to hog tie her. LOL. After you've shared, casually ask if there's anything she'd like to try. Make it fun and sexy.

I definitely agree to not just jump into it. Start slow with one or two of yours, and encourage her to share hers as well. But don't get upset with her if she doesn't feel comfortable yet, since you getting visibly frustrated with her will probably make her a lot less likely to want to share them in the future. Gentle encouragement is key, and keeping it fun and sexy will definitely help.

Will she watch porn with you? If so, watch stuff that's a little less on the vanilla side of things and judge her reactions to what she is seeing and ask her questions in the moment. The key is to create a safe space. What also helps is to talk about things outside of the bedroom so the pressure is off.
