I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in my early twenties and had a hysterectomy and chemo treatments. I am now considered a survivor and have had no recurrences. I was wondering how many other women on the site are survivors or are going through the same diagnosis.
How many women are breast or ovarian cancer survivors?

I would never compare what I went through with breast cancer or ovarian cancer, but I have battled cervical cancer/pre-cancer since I was fifteen. Countless surgeries...nightmare. I don't wish it on anyone.

My mother-in-law was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She has just completed the mastectomy and reconstructive surgery and is about to start chemotherapy. The whole family is pretty stressed.
