It's a pointless, cruel monster. It hurts, it creates an onslaught of useless hormones to make me feel like shit for no reason (and be angry about the fact that I'm feeling like shit for no legitimate, external reason), it bleeds for-fucking-ever and it's just one more thing to pay for. I'd rather not spend money on shit for me to bleed all over, I'd rather not feel it tricking down and aching and cramping and never feeling CLEAN until it's all over.

I'm not going to have children. I do not need to have a fucking period. It's absolutely revolting.

I don't expect any responses, I'm just ranting.

My period has almost completely gone away (just several days of spotting) since I've had the Mirena. It is a royal pain to have put in. Plan on 1-2 days of severe cramping and feeling like crap. But, after that, your period will slowly start lessen. At the 3 year mark, I'm more worried about needing pregnancy tests because my periods are down to nothing.

I don't get mine either, sometimes spotting but thats not often at all. I was on the shot for a while and now i have implanon.

I have had my tubes cut/tied and burned. I don't want anymore kids than the 2 I already have but was told I couldn't have a hysterectomy unless it was deemed medically necessary. I HATE having a period!
