I love the way they look and would definitely go for it if it weren't for the long healing time and constant crustiness. I don't think I'll ever get them done myself, although I'd love to.

I have mine done horizontally and I'm pregnant now. I will be taking them out closer to my due date but my doc doesn't think I should have a problem breast feeding.

I was concerned that I had larger nipples than normal well the colored part of the nipple is larger. When my nipples aren't hard they look sort of funny lol it looks great when they are hard tho.

My husband has always made comments about wanting me to get my nipples pierced. I've never had any interest in doing that, but I do want to get a hood piercing soon. I may get my nipples done at the same time, to surprise him.

I've had it done several times due to either being ripped out by rough activity or getting infected and removed. My nipples are hot zones and it's hard for me to concentrate on anything like work with pierced nipples, so I'm kind of glad they didn't work out well over the long run.

Before getting them pierced, my nipples weren't very sensitive...
I got them pierced, and had to take them out immediately because the piercer pierced one crooked.
I waited a month (sufficient time for them to close-up) and got them re-pierced (properly, this time). After a year, they still weren't healed. I'd read (and heard) that larger breasts take much longer to heal... I eventually got fed up with it and took them out, but my nipples are definitely more sensitive after having had them pierced twice.

I don't think I would ever pierce my nipples (or any other part of my body that may be numbed by the process) but if others want to do it, that's fine. It looks good most of the time. I'm not sure if it would get annoying and in the way, though. Sometimes I'm sure they're fun but other times, I would want to just get at the nipple without anything in my way. But I guess you could take them out?

I would love to get mine pierced but I want to find a qualified and trustworthy piercer. I think they are so sexy but my only concern is that I have very small nipples. I had mine done horizontally. They made my nipples much more sensitive and I just loved how it looked.
I found that barbells are much more comfortable and less likely to catch on things than rings or hoops. D-rings are my favorite. The comfort of barbells but with the sexiness of rings!

probly the most distrubing memory i have as a child is figuring out that my mom got her nipple pierced personally im against it it looks painful and not very attractive plus my bf is already too rough with my nipples i wouldnt wanna give him sometime to pull on

It took my 26 years just to pierce my ears...so I don't see nipple piercings in my future. I know people who have and they have all said how painful it is, so I think I will stay away from it. however, I have nothing against them...just not for me

I have mine pierced. It did hurt to get them, but it is what it is. I love them, and the way they look. I haven't thought about breastfeeding because I'm nowhere near ready for a child.

My friend has hers pierced... I couldn't imagine getting mine. I've heard that for 2 months afterwards, the area is very sensitive and a lot of women don't want anyone touching them.

I kind of wanted to, but a few things stopped me. One, I've heard they can take forever to heal. Two, I'm a big baby when it comes to pain. I was barely able to get my earlobes pierced. How I gave birth without meds is a mystery. And three, I don't know how it will affect breastfeeding and I don't know for sure that I'm done having kids.
