Random gushing in the middle of the day?

I'm not talking about squirting, I'm talking about sitting around, watching funny cat videos or doing homework, and then suddenly feeling a gush from between my legs. To be even more (perhaps too) descriptive, like what it feels like when I'm on my period and there's a gush of fluid. There's nothing that prompts it (that I can tell). It's been going on for two months now, at random times during my cycle (but usually not in the week after my period). Usually I'll be sitting and relaxed, and it'll happen without any precursor. It smells and tastes like my usual natural lubrication, except I've NEVER soaked my panties over NOTHING before.

The only difference in lifestyle that I can come up with is that these past months I've been masturbating much more frequently and more "effectively". Has anyone experienced this random, no-warnings gushing and does anyone know what it is?

I found one on failblog that was a guy asking if he and a girl he met online were mutually masturbating through webcam and he ejaculated, if she could get pregnant from that...

... I'm only hoping that's a prank question.

That's what I thought it was... but it doesn't seem to be picky as to what time it happens. Some weeks it's more likely than others, but it still happens during phases where I shouldn't be particularly fertile. Besides, I'm on the pill... doesn't that just throw that whole cycle out the window? Or could it be the hormones in the pill that are suddenly causing this?

I've actually asked my doctor about this, as I've had this problem for some time. He told me that it can be a number of things. One is the point of your cycle you're in. If you're close to ovulating then there is more cervical discharge. It should be an egg white, stringy type. During other parts of your cycle, it's more a watery type discharge.

Another thing my doctor mentioned is that if you have a weak bladder or have had children that it could be leaking urine. (Do your kegels, ladies!)

Personally, I use to make numerous trips to the bathroom to dry my undies with toilet paper, but I found it easier to just use the pantyliners from depends made for urine leakage. It's much easier to clean up and you don't have to deal with wet undies all day.

If still concerned, definately ask your doc.

Huh... interesting. I've been on this one for nearly half a year now. I guess it could be my body still adjusting to it. The dramatically increased discharge has only been around for the past two months. I'll ask my doctor the next time I go in for an examination.

This used to happen to me all the time when I was 20. It hardly ever happens now.

But a few weeks ago I noticed big splots of female juices on the floor in one of the bathroom stalls where I work. I thought "How could someone drip that much and not notice it and clean it up?"

To my horror I noticed large white drops on the outside of the black pants I was wearing when I took them off. I was the culprit! And I was walking around with those white splotches all day.
