Random sharp stinging pain...

Contributor: SMichelle SMichelle
Ladies, do ever experience a very sharp stinging pain in your nipple?

I experienced this for the first time last night. It was quick, but sharp. It only lasted about a minute, and it felt better when I put pressure on it. I've been trying to figure out what could've caused it, but I'm clueless.

I've never had this in my nipple, but I've had it on other parts of my body. Sometimes I just get quick, random pain. It only lasts a few seconds and then goes away.

I get like that in my nipples/breasts a couple of days before I get my period, and a couple days during my period. Could it be associated with that somehow?

I get it in my boobs and nipples sometimes around my period. It hurts but only lasts a few seconds.

This is when I get it too. I assumed it may be related since I don't get it any other time.

I don't think I've ever experienced that. Doesn't sound very pleasant.

I have had it elsewhere on my body. It could just be your nerve freaking out for no reason, but if it persists you may want to see a doctor, especially if it's in the same area most of the time. Pain is supposed to be a warning sign, but sometimes your body just messes up a bit.

I get sharp pains throughout my body, mine is related to my RA though and it has just become a normal thing for me.

Never had it in my breasts. I would pay a visit to a doctor just in case.

Never in my nipple, but I get them from my ovarian cysts. I sometimes also get a random ache or pain in my leg or back or something though.
