I don't know how many men I've had sex with. I went through a time when I was about 19/20 where I was intoxicated and very promiscuous. But it's definitely more than 5. But I would say that according to the formula given by Delicious Surprise, it's fairly accurate for my number. Of course, for the past 10 years I have only had sex with one person.

My number stands at less than ten, which I think is reasonable given that the number of people with whom I have been sexually intimate is, in general, in line with the actual relationships in which I have been involved. However, being BDSM/Kink-inclined, I have had several non-sexual play partners (whom I do not count) and a couple of "friends with benefits" whom I do.
Honestly, though, I don't know if there's a "normal" number — everybody's different!

I think that "five or more" category is going to turn into a huge pile-up of names. I was reading some magazine the other day and it was talking about the average number of partners an adult will have and it was anywhere between 10-20, depending on the gender and what country you were looking at.

im 25 years old and i passed double digits at age 19, after starting having sex at age almost 18 yrs old.
that freshman year in college was a drunken doozy.

I love Delicious Surprises formula. I breathed a sigh of relief. I am 41 and got married to my first husband at 16, he was my first. By her formula that is 25 years. I have had between 25-30 partners. 5 of them women and the rest guys, most were in my late teens and early 20's. I got divorced at 18. Now it's just me and the mister and an occasional lady for fun

"Male partners" because this is a thread in the women's health section, and I consider "intercourse" to be penetrative sex between a man and a woman. No offense intended at all towards lesbians.
