What types of herbs/vitamins do you use?

kendra30752 kendra30752
Just curious about what types of herbs and vitamins others use and the benefits. Do you have any home remedies to share (in comment section)? I'd love to hear them in the comments section!

I'm currently waiting to try Noni and would love to hear from anyone who's used it! I've done the wheat grass thing and whew! Yuck! I still have tons of wheat grass in pill and powder form laying around. One brand was decent and another brand made me severly sick for 2 weeks! I've tried Barley too, didn't care for it, but aloe vera pills are absolutely amazing!

Do you use any of these?

I've taken a couple of those things before, but they didn't really do much for me.

I take Fish Oil that contains a lot of Omega-3, Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc , and a multivitamin supplement every day, for a total of 3 tablets.

Yikes! Sorry Rossie. I totally missed your thread until you posted it just now. Oops! Well, at least we'll have 2 polls that offer a variety to choose from. Lol.

I take multi-vitamin and calcium too. Does the Omega-3 seem to help you in any particular area? I'm curious about what's good! Lol.

That's all right, your thread is more about herbal and natural supplements anyway. I just mentioned mine because I was too lazy to repeat everything again.

I take some resveratrol, and use flax seed in a lot of recipes (not pill form though). I also use a lot of hemp seeds in food, and hemp protein powder in smoothies, if that counts as a herb.

I don't use any. I've been told to add more D but I just increased my intake of food containing it not a supplement.

Add multi-vitamins, vitamin C in the cold weather, glucosamine and chondroitin. The multi-vitamins are ritual, the rest, not so much.

I said fish oil, but it's really cod liver oil--fermented cod liver, to be exact. I keep it in the fridge. And cranberry extract for my urinary tract.
