Easily wet?

Do most women get worked up and wet easily, or is oral sex/lubrication a must?

It depends on so many things....hormones, emotional state, energy/stress levels.. I have days where I get wet without even consciously thinking about sex, then I have days where I want it so bad but I can't get wet and need to use lube. It's just part of the mystery and "fun" of being female.

*this. Please also take into account that there are many pre and post menopausal women, along with women who may be taking hormones in drugs such as BC, that get aroused but cannot get wet.

Also can depend on: time of month, medications taking (antihistamines will dry out your mucous membranes, which includes your vagina; I believe this happens with some antibiotics too).

Anti-depressants also effect the ability to get wet or even get extremely aroused or orgasm. This has been an issue for me and something not to be afraid of talking to your doctors about.

For some women, getting wet or having an orgasm is easy as pie! For others, it's near impossible.

I've never required lubrication for vaginal penetration, but that's just me. Some women, especially older women, may require lubrication.

I agree that all women are different. I personally do get wet pretty easily but I still add lube. You can never have too much lube.

Everyone is different. I usually don't need lube but I stay well hydrated and I think that has a lot to do with it for me personally.

Everyone said it. I would note that most of the month, I get very wet easily, but even for me there are parts of my cycle where I'm quite dry.

All women are different. My fiance has been the most wet and many of my ex girlfriends were on the dry side.

I definitely second this. And it depends on the state of each woman's hormones as well. I used to be dripping after about two minutes of just thinking about sex, but once I went on the pill, all that was lost to me. It's really very frustrating, but I guess that if your body thinks that you're preggers, there's no reason to keep you ready for sex.
