He had a girlfriend at one point that was a complete submissive so he knows all about this world. He is excited that I have given him permission to try new things with me. Without reading the books I would have never been open to it. I initially picked them up because one of my friends was reading them and suggest I read them as well. I was shocked to find out just how many of my friends were reading it once I started talking about it.

I just had a meeting at work with five other women - three of them have read the whole series this summer *lol* They loved it, but I would say that none of them were familiar with the kink world before reading, and I would also say that their requirements for good reading is probably not the same as mine. I am afraid I would be disappointed in it, as many of the reviewers here have been.
