I've done and do both but I personally prefer giving oral/recieving oral seperately. I like the idea of mutual pleasure that comes with 69 but I feel like I am able to do much much more when we aren't in that kind of position. Way, way, way too easily distracted during a 69 . . which usually means I stop working on my partner and just lie there in a daze @.@

The wife doesn't care much to give oral, but I LOVE to give it. When we do, we do both. Separate oral and 69. Sometimes we'll do 69 on our sides, which seems to work best for us. Sometimes its just one of us receives and then we can't really help but get going with the "Good stuff" hah! So we never really make it to the other one receiving
