I have only once done true multipuls but can cum several times in a session untill I am dry orgasming
My current girlfriend can't multiple as she passes out on the ramp up to the second consecutive orgasm but can orgasm again as soon as she regains Consciousness
she usualy begs off between three and five but the intervals of unconciousness increase in duration after the third anyway.

While I don't really count them or keep track of them, just having 1 is very rare for me. I normally have at least 2 or 3 very easily. There have been times where I easily orgasmed 4 or 5 times in about 30 minutes, but after that I honestly lose count because to me it's just about enjoying the moment.

I'm hyper-orgasmic, so the most times I've orgasmed in a single session was 53 times. That was with my ex-husband, who wanted to figure out the upper limits of my gift, and it took about two hours to orgasm that many times. I probably could have had more, but I lost consciousness for a few moments and told him we needed to stop before I really hurt myself. He used to say if we could just bottle my talent, we'd be the richest people in the history of the world.
So... as a hyper-orgasmic person, my preference is to keep it under 20 in an hour, because otherwise the stimulation gets to be too overwhelming and they stop being as satisfying.
