It will probably work well just be careful you don't push too hard against the prostate and cause bruising. I agree that the finger is great but can get tiring if it is a long session. Have fun!

Try to be gentle with the friction since the rectum is sensitive to tearing (even micro-tears aren't a good thing). Other than that it makes sense that it'd work.
