Well, just insert them in as you would a tampon, and either leave them in and go about your day, or allot a specific amount of time where you do kegel exercises with them in.

You can buy vaginal ball with or with out retrieval strings. A beginner might want to start with a string type; they're easier to retrieve (not that they can go anywhere, because they can't) and chances are, because they are joined, they won't both fall out! Whereas, if you have just the balls in, and your muscles aren't in great shape, they could fall out. I usually find just one will pop out if I cough hard or sneeze! Obviously I need a little more work with them1 As well as strengthening muscles (and your partner will notice!), they provide a discrete source of constant stimulation.

Fun Factory, Topco, and Ophoira make nice K-Balls for beginners. If you want to put the money down, LELO has a nice one! Wear them whenever you want. I suggest wearing them when you clean the house, because you are moving a lot. Most of the K-Balls have a smaller marble in them that moves around inside the K-Ball as you move. That can be fun too. (You always want to have a little fun when you are exercising any part of you body!)

Don't use glass ones, because they can hit each other and cause fractures.

Same principal as anal beads on those, pop them in and like people said do Kegel exercises or if they have a retrieval string pull them in and out. For great fun leave in and go about your day though - will make for quite the drenched day.

Does anyone know if Ben Wa balls are the same balls that were popular "stress relievers" a few years ago? Stores like Marshalls used to sell metal or enameled pairs of spheres that made a nice clanging sound when you shook them. They were supposed to be rolled around in the hand, but they sound very similar to the Ben Wa balls to me!

I think the stress reliever things were a bit bigger? I picture some women having used them the same way, though.
