You have a new toy. Do you read the instructions first or start looking through EF reviews?

Usually I just figure it out, but sometimes I'll consult teh intarweb (Eden first, of course!). I know I should RTFM more often, but looks like I'm in good company!

I would never read a review after buying something. It's useless after purchase

I read the reviews before I buy. Then when I get it, I figure it out for myself.

I read tons of reviews before buying to make sure it's what I want. So by the time I get it I pretty much know

Some toys don't have instructions. If they do I read the manual, if not I go to the reviews

I usually read reviews first to get an idea before I buy it.

For toys that come with instructions, I generally read them first. I also like to read reviews and user-generated instructions before I even consider buying an item. A lot of thought goes into what I buy! (Most of the time.)

That being said, some things are pretty self-explanatory.

I think EF has some great reviewers, and I always feel that getting knowledge from real users rather than some company manual will always win in the end.

Read the reviews before buying and then kind of go along with it.

I generally check the reviews pre-purchase, then check the instructions if it has any. My new E-Stim box is the exception; I have one of the same model and got it so I can use more electrodes.

OW doesn't read them. I actually read reviews if there are any before making purchases. Sometimes I make purchases after reading some.

When I do reviews I try to provide instructions and findings to help people. I figured many don't read them or may need assistance. The most complicated toy we've reviewed in the Fun Factory Drei.

I also like to do videos to help.

I read the reviews before I purchase. I only read the instructions before using the toy if I think it may be important to know for things like to have a "better experience" or if I'm somewhat confused about how things "work". Also if I think there may be special instructions for cleaning and I don't want to damage the toy. Otherwise, I just dive in!
