A person is still a virgin until they have intercourse with another person, meaning penetrative sexual intercourse with a man or a woman (with a strap on). But that's only my opinion

I don't think masturbation counts as losing your virginity. I have a grey area when you have oral sex with someone. I'm not sure how I'd count that.

Virginity is really a mental/social concept, because most of the time the hymen is long gone by the time sex becomes a reality. So, the vast majority of people would say that you are a virgin until you participate in intercourse. But it varies from person to person.
