Candle or Oil?

I am confused about the postings regarding the difference between oils and candles. Wouldn't a candle just provide the erotic scent in the air vs. oil would give the scent in the air as well as moisturize the body?

I thought this too but massage candles don't give off a scent compared to regular candles.

The postings you've seen are probably talking about massage candles. When the "wax" melts, it's not just regular candle wax, it's massage oil. I honestly love massage candles over regular oil. Not only do they scent the skin but the air as well, AND the oil gets warm from being melted so it feels nicer on the skin (the wax in massage candles has a lower burn temp compared to regular candles, so the wax/oil won't be burning hot like regular candles...).

When the candle part melts (wax) it turns in to body oil which is great.
